Uplifting EDUCATION

XL Education seeks to assist with the upliftment of the society and the economy of South Africa by providing holistic and effective support to the development of young people.

Uplifting Education in South Africa

As XL Education, we are passionate about raising generations of young South Africans who have the best possible opportunity to grow, learn and become active citizens who can make a positive difference. Education is a multi-faceted process with no quick-fix or one-size-fits-all solutions – so holistic, collaborative and enduring strategies and initiatives are required. Here in South Africa, the needs are enormous – we want to play our part.

XL Education was born in 2015 out of a desperation to make a difference in education wherever and however we can. In this relatively short journey since then, we have had the opportunity to explore many aspects of providing educational support, both online and on-the-ground.

This has included numerous activities – from revision workshops to large-scale camps; creating videos and digital learning resources; booklets and written resources; online learning applications with Maths & Science specialist focus; personal tuition programs; teacher and leadership development; and our “School Support Program” – which combines a number of these aspects, bringing digital and personal support to teachers in classrooms.

We are privileged to have worked with over 10,000 learners over the last few years, and are currently supporting roughly 6,000 FET learners specifically with their Maths & Science, by working directly with their teachers in nearly 50 schools around Limpopo, North-West and Mpumalanga.
